Logos can make a huge impact on an industry/firm reputation,
for good or bad. In a modern world a logo is mostly a good design with a few
typography; however, when a logo speaks by itself without any extra
explanations and comments it is consider a great logo. A logo can evolve within a company; for
example, British Petroleum had to invest millions of dollars to create a new
logo that could fix their reputation after the oil spill in Mexico. In addition
many firms such as Apple, BMW, Siemens, Pepsi, and many more have had their
logo re-designed due to many years of operations.
Now let’s think if we could apply the same concept to ourselves. In other words, does our own logo speak by itself, or do we have to explain ourselves to others so they can understand who we are. Finally, have we re-designed our logo from when we were born?

Logos are a huge part of a customers perception of a company. I think Nike is one of the best marketed company in the world, with one of the most simple and unique logo; i read in a business article that it was drawn up by a design student as a side job and was paid like $2000 for the work.
